 Biphase
stainless steel is a stainless steel that is 50%
ferrite and 50% austenite. Its mechanical functions
are obviously better than austenite stainless steel
because it has traits of both ferrite and austenite.
It is twice as rugged as austenite stainless steel
and has an all-sided anticorrosion function. It
is especially stress proof and its part anticorrosion
functions are better than common austenite stainless
steel. Its weldability is also quite good.
The
Ministry of Metallurgical Industry Academy started
developing biphase stainless steel in the middle
of the 1970s. As the first generation of biphase
stainless steel, OOCr18Ni5Mo3S12¡¯s ruggedness and
male malleability is better than 316L steel. It
was made for anti-stress corrosion equipment and
parts that could bear lower stress corrosion and
stress corrosion under the condition of lower consistency
chloride. As the representative of the second generation
of Biphase stainless steel, azotic OOCr25Ni6Mo2N
developed in the middle of the 1980s, has better
mechanical functions and all-sided anticorrosion
functions than the first generation. It has already
been the first material of carbamide. OOCr25Ni6Mo2N
is made for heat exchange with a sea water medium
in the chemical industry and pipe or plate in pressure
receptacle. OOCr25Ni5Mo3CuN developed recently as
the representative of anti-stress corrosion coppery
biphase stainless steel, which is used in carbamide
medium, sea water and
brine. Biphase stainless steel made in China has
already succeeded in taking the place of 316L, Ocr18Ni12Mo2Ti,
A4 manganese stainless steel, OOCr25Ni22Mo2N(2RE69),
copper, lynx, etc.
Product Varieties: parts of machines, forging,
casting, pipe, bar, plate, wire.
Range of Use: machine, pump, valve, flange,
pipe fitting, heat exchanger, agitating device, spiral
propeller, etc. Used in the oil and chemical industries, for
ships, the sea, etc.
