Power End
Frame-made
of high strength cast iron with an enclosed
box
type structure.
Crankshaft-made
of high strength forged alloy steel,
supported by four heavy-duty straight
roller bearings. The crank pin bearing
is of precision type with steel back
and babbit lining.
Connecting
rod-made of rare-earth metal alloyed
nodular cast iron, with its crank end
being of split type.
Cross-head
is of cylindrical form and its top and
botton guides are adjustable.
Cross
head pin-made of alloy-steel with its
surface hardened and
accurately ground.
Cross
pin bushing- made of bronze and press-fitted
into connecting rod.
Lubrication
power end to be forced lubricated by
gear pump driven directly by the crank
shaft. The filter, magnetic screw and
heat exchanger are equipped in the lubrication
system.
Extension
rod-made of alloy steel with Cr-plated.
Fluid
End
Pump-composed
of five separate cylinders made of high
quality caststeel
or forged steel, with accurately machined
fluid passage and valve seat bore manifold.
High
and low pressure-with standard flanges
at both of their ends.
Suction
and discharge valves-specially designed
in line with the slurry pump characteristics.
a.Valve
seat
made of alloy steel with hardened valve
surface.
b.valve insert-made
of rubber of super quality
c.Valve spring-made
of stainless steel.
Plunger-having
high abrasion resis-tance for its surface
sprayed with nickel-base self-fusible
alloy and precisely ground.
Stuffing
Box Assembly-composed of the stuffing
box, plunger seal, guiding bushing and
washing ring. The stuffing box is of
unique high-pressure flushing construction
to prevent the ash slurry grains from
entering the plunger seal, so that the
working life of the plunger, plunger
seal and guiding bushing is greatly
extended.
Plunger
Seal -The seal ring is of moulded pressure-sealing
lip type, with high hermetization and
abrasion resistance.
Others
To
extend the plunger seal life of the
slurry pump, a high-pressure flush pump
is provided to prevent the ash slurry
entering the plunger seal.
An
adjustable speed hydraulic coupling
is provided for starting the pump in
low speed and regulating its flow freely.
Both
inlet and outlet of the pump equipped
with pulsation have a damper each to
reduce pressure fluctuation.
To
make the set running safely and properly,
techometer, thermometer, safety valve
and alarm devices for oil temperature
and pressure are provided.
The ash
slurry pump, high pressure flush pump,
motor, hydraulic coupling and gear reducer
are mounted on a common baseplate.
